Vanderbilt men's basketball's second-leading scorer, Duke Miles, "will be back soon," and Frankie Collins' injury status is "much more uncertain," Vanderbilt coach Mark Byington said Feb. 14 after the Commodores defeated Texas A&M 82-69 in an SEC matchup at Memorial Gymnasium.
Collins, a 6-foot-1 junior guard, hasn't played since Dec. 17, and Miles has been absent from the lineup since late January. Both suffered knee injuries.
“Duke’s attacking his rehab. He’s doing workouts and things like that," Byington said. "He’s competitive. He wants to get back as being a great teammate. I think we’ll have him back soon. It’s hard to give a timetable, but I think within a week or two for sure.”

What Mark Byington said about Frankie Collins' injury status
“With Frankie, we changed things up with his treatment and his rehab plans. We’re hoping this kind of change helps him out. It’s a little bit uncertain with him, but we’re hoping to get him back,” Byington said.
