SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – The Huskers rallied back from a 2-0 deficit in the 4th inning to beat the top-ranked Texas Tech squad 3-2.
Catcher Jesse Farrell hit a two-run homer to tie it in the bottom of the 4th. Only moments later, CF Hannah Coor would hit what would be the game-winning strike into left field, bringing in a runner from second to go up 3-2.
This is the second time this season the Huskers have beaten a #1 opponent and 5th in program history!
Next, they head to Cathedral City for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on February 20th, facing off against South Carolina.
