Víctor Munoz, a product of Real Madrid’s academy, is delivering solid performances at CA Osasuna, after leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2025.
In 26 matches across all competitions, the 22-year-old winger has produced a return of five goals and four assists, with his dribbling capabilities and attacking intent catching everyone’s eyes.
Real Madrid, as they do with almost each youth player, have secured a buyback option for Munoz as well, while still retaining 50% of his rights as well.
No room in squad
However, according to Noticias de Navarra (h/t Defensa Central), Real Madrid do not intend to reintegrate Munoz into the squad next season by activating the buyback clause they have for him.
Authoritative voices at Valdebebas speak highly of his performances and qualities and are impressed by what they have seen so far from him at Osasuna.

They regard him as an interesting player who could make an impact in the coming seasons. He is described as a classic winger and his first campaign in Spain’s top division is viewed positively.
However, it must be considered that he operates in a position that is currently well covered in Alvaro Arbeloa’s squad. For that reason above all, Real Madrid do not plan to rely on him in the short or medium term.
Furthermore, the report also states that the footballer is prepared to continue at Osasuna for now, striving to fulfil his ambitions of playing for major European clubs.
The 22-year-old winger is already attracting interest from the Premier League and in case a move materialises, Real Madrid would stand to pocket a handsome fee as they still retain 50% of his rights.
