Ryan Rickelton led the South African charge as SunRisers Leeds posted the highest total in Hundred history at Headingley.
SunRisers posted 241 for two before restricting London Spirit to 204 for six to seal a 37-run win.
Rickelton produced a brutal unbeaten 94 off 42 balls, striking six fours and eight sixes at a strike rate of 223.80. He shared a 148-run opening partnership with Mitch Marsh, who made 76 off 37 deliveries.
The Proteas wicketkeeper also made an impact behind the stumps, taking two catches during London’s unsuccessful chase.

London’s South African pair had mixed fortunes. Dewald Brevis struck 38 off 21 balls, including three fours and two sixes, before falling to Matthew Revis. He had earlier held the catch that removed Marsh.
Lhuan-dré Pretorius made five from three deliveries before being dismissed by Reece Topley. His boundary helped London recover from Jonny Bairstow’s first-ball duck, although a cluster of early wickets left them in trouble.
David Willey’s unbeaten 83 kept the visitors fighting, but Rickelton’s assault had already given SunRisers more than enough runs to secure victory.
