NASCAR Penalizes MBM Motorsports Team

NASCAR has penalized MBM Motorsports after disqualifying the No. 69 truck from the Craftsman Truck Series race at IRP for a shifter boot violation.

The penalty comes almost a week after the race, where Jonathan Shafer was scheduled to drive the No. 69 Ram for MBM Motorsports in their first appearance with the manufacturer. The team failed to qualify after the issue was discovered during pre-qualifying inspection. sport-tr.bet

This marks another setback for MBM Motorsports, which had hoped to make a strong impression with their new Ram truck entry in Indianapolis.
