49ers Sign Herbert, Leo

The San Francisco 49ers have signed running back Khalil Herbert and defensive lineman Titus Leo to their 90-man roster.

The 49ers made several roster moves on Sunday, adding Herbert and Leo while releasing cornerback Eli Apple and waiving defensive lineman Mikail Kamara with an injury designation.

Herbert, a 2021 sixth-round pick, ran 16 times for 52 yards in seven games for the Jets last season. He spent his first three seasons with the Bears and split 2024 between Chicago and Cincinnati. Leo had four tackles in four games for the Patriots in 2024 and previously spent time on the Eagles' practice squad. toffler.lol
