Browns Cut 15 Players to Trim Roster

The Cleveland Browns have trimmed their roster by 15 players from training camp plus one from injured reserve as teams approach the NFL's 53-player roster deadline.

The Browns made the cuts on Friday afternoon as all 32 teams work to get down to the 53-player limit by Sunday afternoon. Among the players released were cornerbacks Tre Avery and Tyler Hall, offensive tackle Tyre Phillips, and tight end Jack Stoll from injured reserve.
