Commanders Hire Riggins, Green for New Roles

Washington Commanders have hired Hall of Famers John Riggins and Darrell Green in new capacities for the upcoming season.

John Riggins will join the Commanders' preseason broadcast crew while also participating in special events. The team is also retiring Riggins' No. 44 jersey this season.

Darrell Green will work in community outreach, focusing on engaging fans and civic leaders with the new domed stadium planned for the former RFK Stadium site. The Commanders aim to move into the new facility for the 2030 season. toffler.lol
