Eagles Place Dickerson on Injured Reserve

Published September 14, 2026 · Updated September 15, 2026 · NBC Sports

Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson has been placed on injured reserve, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and will miss at least the next four weeks.

Despite a rough day in pass protection against the Commanders in Sunday's opener, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni praised Dickerson's run blocking. The 27-year-old, who was a second-round pick in 2021 and a three-time Pro Bowler, has been playing through an undisclosed injury. fishroad-app.com

Dickerson said he has rethought his approach to playing through injuries and denied retirement rumors. The Eagles will likely use either Drew Kendall or Willie Lampkin at left guard while Dickerson recovers.
