Giants' Thibodeaux, Neal only 2022 top-10 without extensions

The New York Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal are the only players from the 2022 NFL draft's top-10 picks who have not yet received contract extensions.

While eight of the first 10 players selected in the 2022 NFL draft have secured their second contracts, defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux (fifth overall) and offensive lineman Evan Neal (seventh overall) remain without extensions. Both were drafted by the New York Giants, with Thibodeaux entering his option year and Neal having re-signed for the one-year minimum in 2026.

All other top-10 selections from that draft—including Travon Walker, Aidan Hutchinson, Derek Stingley Jr., Sauce Gardner, Ikem Ekwonu, Drake London, Charles Cross, and Garrett Wilson—have since signed their second deals. The Giants recently again selected two players in the top-10, linebacker Arvell Reese and tackle Francis Mauigoa, though it remains to be seen if this draft class will yield better results for the franchise. sos-zagle.org.pl
