Rondale Moore, 25, was found dead in a garage in New Albany, Indiana, on Feb. 21. The Floyd County coroner says the cause is under investigation; police suspect a self‑inflicted gunshot wound and an autopsy is scheduled.
Moore played for Purdue (2018‑20) and was a second‑round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. He spent three seasons with the Cardinals and had brief stints with the Falcons and Vikings before his death. The Vikings, NFLPA and other teams issued statements of condolence.
