Saints Sign WR Cedric Tillman

The New Orleans Saints signed wide receiver Cedric Tillman to their practice squad on Tuesday, adding depth with first-round pick Jordyn Tyson sidelined for at least the first four games.

New Orleans signed Tillman after he was released by Cleveland when the Browns set their initial 53-man roster. The move addresses the Saints' receiver depth, as Tyson is on injured reserve and Mason Tipton is on the physically unable to perform list to start the season. michezonews.co.za

Tillman, who caught 71 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns over three seasons with the Browns, joins a receiving corps that includes Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, rookies Bryce Lane and Barion Brown on the active roster. His experience could be valuable as the Saints prepare for Week 1.
