The Houston Texans have placed wide receiver DJ Turner on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, just days after he signed with the team.

The Texans made the corresponding move after signing defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. Turner, 29, signed with Houston on July 29 and practiced Monday before being placed on IR. He spent the past four seasons with the Raiders, appearing in 32 games with 16 catches for 158 yards and a touchdown. amunra.qpon
