Southampton have reported a pre-tax loss of £53.9m for the 2024-25 season, despite a significant 86% increase in revenue.

The relegated Saints saw revenue rise to £158m, though wages also climbed 43% to £116m. Despite spending £90m on players like Aaron Ramsdale and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, the club recorded player sale profits of £29m.

Facing the earliest relegation in Premier League history, the club's financial report highlights the challenges of competing at the top level.
