Arsenal probe warm-up injuries

Mikel Arteta has confirmed Arsenal are reviewing their warm-up routines after a fourth pre-match injury setback this season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta described the pattern as "very unusual," noting it has happened four times this season compared to once or twice in his six years at the club. The most recent case involved Riccardo Calafiori being withdrawn before the Wigan game, forcing tactical changes including Bukayo Saka starting in midfield.

Previous warm-up injuries included William Saliba at Anfield and Saka before the Leeds trip. Arteta admitted the uncertainty has altered his mindset in the final minutes before kick-off, saying he's "more aware" of potential issues when players report problems.
