Avalanche’s Makar sidelined, Nichushkin and Roy return

Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar stated that Cale Makar will likely miss a few more games but is expected back before the regular season ends. Valeri Nichushkin and Nicolas Roy return to the lineup against the St. Louis Blues.

Makar suffered an upper-body injury on March 30 after taking a hit from Calgary's Adam Klapka. To make room for the returning forwards, Joel Kiviranta and Zakir Bardakov will sit out against the St. Louis Blues.
