Jalen Suggs recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists, while Anthony Black returned from injury to score 14 points. Orlando built a 26-point lead late in the third quarter before Detroit rallied to cut the margin to three points with four minutes remaining.

Detroit was without eight players, including All-Star Cade Cunningham (11th straight game with a collapsed lung) and Tobias Harris. The Pistons committed 21 turnovers in the loss.
