Bangladesh Cricket Board crisis deepens as four directors resign

The Bangladesh Cricket Board faces increased instability after seven directors resigned, including four who quit following a recent board meeting. President Aminul Islam remains defiant, vowing to serve until the end despite mounting pressure and a government investigation.

Seven out of 25 directors have stepped down from the Bangladesh Cricket Board, deepening the ongoing crisis within the administration. The exits, including four directors who resigned on April 4, have raised significant concerns about the board's future stability.

Despite the resignations and pressure from the sports ministry regarding alleged malpractice, BCB President Aminul Islam declared he will not quit. Stating that his team is dedicated and honest, he emphasized his commitment to serving the country and refused to step down, insisting he will be the "last person to go."
