Bears Set Deadline for Stadium Decision

The Chicago Bears are targeting a decision on a new stadium by late spring, choosing between Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Hammond, Indiana.

President and CEO Kevin Warren told ESPN the franchise aims to inform the host location between mid-May and early June.

The team currently plays in the aging Soldier Field and favors a domed venue to host events like the FIFA World Cup and eliminate weather disadvantages.
