Bears Sign OT Wright to Record $116M Deal

The Chicago Bears have extended All-Pro offensive tackle Darnell Wright to a four-year, $116 million contract with $93 million guaranteed, setting a record for right tackles.

The deal makes Wright the highest-paid right tackle in NFL history and gives him the most guaranteed money for an offensive lineman. The No. 10 overall pick in 2023, Wright earned second-team All-Pro honors last season, becoming the first Bears offensive lineman to receive that distinction since Kyle Long in 2014.

Wright's 81.4 PFF grade ranked 14th among all tackles, while his elite 85.6 run-blocking grade was sixth in the league, helping Chicago's offense finish third in the NFL in rushing. For GM Ryan Poles, the extension represents another key piece in his roster rebuild. betsport.cv
