Canada's Homan Wins Curling Bronze

Rachel Homan's Canadian team defeated the United States 10-7 to win bronze in Olympic women's curling at Milano Cortina 2026.

Team Homan secured the bronze medal by scoring three in the eighth end, breaking open a tight game. The victory came after Peterson's triple takeout attempt fell short, allowing Homan to make a perfect draw that gave Canada an 8-5 lead. The US battled back with a deuce in the ninth end, but Canada held on with the hammer in the final end.

This marks Homan's first Olympic medal, adding to her impressive recent record of 198-31, two undefeated Scotties titles, back-to-back world championships, and six grand slam victories. The bronze medal ends Canada's 12-year drought in women's curling, following Jennifer Jones' gold in Sochi 2014.
