Chambliss Tops Heisman Odds After NCAA Ruling

Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss won an injunction against the NCAA, boosting his Heisman Trophy odds to the top spot for 2026, ahead of Texas' Arch Manning.

The February 12 injunction from Judge Robert Whitwell cleared Chambliss to return to Ole Miss for 2026, prompting sportsbooks to lift his Heisman odds to +650 on BetOnline, the best among listed contenders.

Chambliss finished eighth in 2025 voting, throwing 3,937 yards and 22 TDs while rushing 527 yards and eight TDs. He faces a Texas squad on Oct. 24, and other top 2025 finishers—Ohio State's Julian Sayin, Jeremiah Smith, and Georgia's Gunner Stockton—return for the next season.
