Coventry Set to Sign Yirenkyi for Record £23m

Coventry City are set to complete a £23m deal for Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, breaking their transfer record for the fourth time in this window.

Coventry are closing on a £23m agreement with Danish side Nordsjaelland for the Ghana international, which will be a record fee for the Danish top flight. Yirenkyi, who impressed during Ghana's World Cup campaign and scored the winning goal against Panama, will travel to Coventry to complete his move. afsport.lat

The 20-year-old, named Danish league young player of the year last season, becomes the club's fourth record signing of the window after spending almost £60m on winger Loum Tchaouna, defender Aurèle Amenda and goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.
