Moses Itauma knocked out Jermaine Franklin in the fifth round at Manchester's Co‑op Live Arena, marking his 12th stoppage in 14 fights and raising his profile for a world title.

Itauma, 21, used speed and power to dismantle Franklin, landing a decisive uppercut in round five that ended the bout. The 86% knockout rate now sits at 12 of 14 wins.

With Franklin's 27‑fight streak broken, the Briton is poised for bigger fights. He has expressed interest in facing unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, while promoter Frank Warren plans a July return.
