Jockey Club quits Racecourse Association, rocks British racing

The Jockey Club has announced it will resign from the Racecourse Association (RCA) at the end of the year.

The Jockey Club, which owns 15 British racecourses including Cheltenham and Aintree, will join Ascot in leaving the trade body. This follows the RCA's failed governance review aimed at preventing resignations. saltysenoritaaz.com

The decision comes two days after the RCA released the results of its structure review, which was intended to prevent further exits after Ascot quit in May.
