Jury Selected for Stefon Diggs Assault Trial

The jury consists of six women and one man, and the judge expects the trial to last "two or three days." Diggs faces charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery, to which he has pleaded not guilty. The alleged incident occurred at his Dedham home on Dec. 2, 2025, during a dispute over unpaid wages.

Prosecutors claim Diggs struck the woman in the face, placed her in a chokehold, and threw her onto a bed. Text messages showing an argument over money were obtained as evidence. During a pretrial hearing, the judge sided with the defense, excluding reference to a prior bad act due to lack of specificity.
