Leeds United will make history at Elland Road when they pause their FA Cup fifth-round tie with Norwich City to allow players observing Ramadan to break their fast. The match, kicking off at 4.30pm GMT with a spot in the last eight at stake, will see the first ever pause at the stadium for this purpose.
The club has asked for respect during the pause, following what they described as a "clear lack of awareness" by some supporters during their previous fixture against Manchester City. Leeds striker Joël Piroe is among the players who will benefit from the pause, which comes during the holy month of Ramadan.
