Lendeborg Plays Through Injury, Sparks Michigan Win Over Arizona

Michigan guard Yaxel Lendeborg, limping with a sprained left MCL and ankle, returned to the court in the second half to hit two 3‑pointers, helping the Wolverines defeat Arizona 91‑73.

During the first half Lendeborg limped off court with a bruised left knee and a sprained MCL, but returned after a brief medical check. He played nine minutes in the second half, draining two 3‑pointers in 80 seconds and grabbing two rebounds as Michigan routed Arizona.

Despite the injury, Lendeborg's toughness earned praise from teammates and coach. He is the Big Ten Player of the Year and a first‑team All‑American, and his performance is seen as pivotal for Michigan’s pursuit of the national title.
