MLSE President Pelley says Treliving replacement search is wide open

Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment president Keith Pelley announced the immediate start of a search for a new general manager following the firing of Brad Treliving.

Pelley cited a lack of alignment, culture, and structure as reasons for Treliving's dismissal. The search will be "wide open" and focused on data-centric candidates.

Interim management will be handled by assistant GMs Brandon Pridham and Ryan Hardy through the end of the season.
