Jack Nicklaus's famous MacGregor Response ZT putter, used to win the 1986 Masters, is missing after being loaned to tennis player Billy Scanlon and never returned.

Jack Nicklaus's famous MacGregor Response ZT putter, used to win the 1986 Masters, is missing after being loaned to tennis player Billy Scanlon and never returned. The oversized club is reportedly with Scanlon's widow after his death in 2021.

Nicklaus, who wanted the putter for his museum or Augusta National's clubhouse, tried to reclaim it but the widow refused. The putter was reportedly put up for auction with Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay interested in purchasing it.
