NZ man jailed for 26 years over 800kg Perth cocaine bust

A New Zealand man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for attempting to smuggle over 800 kilograms of cocaine into Perth.

He was only caught when his boat broke down, leading to his arrest.

The man faces "likely" deportation following the lengthy sentence.
