A fan gathering at Estadio Alejandro Villanueva in Peru resulted in one fatality and 47 injuries. The causes of the incident are under investigation.

A fan gathering at Estadio Alejandro Villanueva, home of Alianza Lima, turned chaotic, leaving one person dead and 47 injured, officials said.

Health Minister Juan Carlos Velasco reported that 17 patients are admitted to Hospital 2 de Mayo, 15 to Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, and 2 to other hospitals.
