RiverDogs extend season-opening win streak to two

The Charleston RiverDogs silenced the Woodpeckers for the second straight night, winning 6-5 to extend their season-opening win streak to two games.

Taitn Gray blasted a two-run home run and drove in another run, leading the offense. The Woodpeckers tied the game in the seventh, but a balk allowed Charleston to retake the lead.

Bryce Shaffer secured the save, and starter Alex Wallace was stellar in his professional debut. Trey Pooser earned the win.
