Soler and López brawl as Angels lose to Braves

Jorge Soler charged the mound and traded punches with Reynaldo López after a 97 mph fastball sailed past his head during Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Braves. The altercation led to both players being ejected, but the Los Angeles Angels' offense remained silent in a 7-2 loss.

Soler had previously hit a two-run home run off López in the first inning before being drilled in the wrist. Angels manager Kurt Suzuki defended his slugger, noting the head-high pitch was dangerous. The Angels now lead all of baseball with 11 hit-by-pitches this season.
