Welsh District Cancels EGM Following Chairman's Exit

Central Glamorgan Rugby Union (CGRU) has cancelled an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for April 13 after WRU chair Richard Collier-Keywood announced he would step down.

The district cited the exits of both Collier-Keywood and PRB chair Malcolm Wall as sufficient reason to halt the meeting. They stated they achieved their key objectives and will instead seek constructive engagement with the WRU board regarding governance.

Collier-Keywood, who has served since 2023, will not seek a second term and will exit on July 16, while Wall was replaced on an interim basis by Marianne Okland.
