LSU baseball vs Dartmouth game score

BATON ROUGE — For the first time this season, LSU baseball enters a game coming off a loss.

The Tigers (8-1) were upset by McNeese State, 7-6, Tuesday night in a game that Jay Johnson described that his team "got out of character" for a few innings. LSU rallied lead in the game after falling behind 7-2 but fell short.

No. 1 LSU return to action against Dartmouth Friday (6:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network+) opening up a four-game series with the Big Green and Northeastern at Alex Box Stadium this weekend.

Sophomore pitcher Casan Evans will start his third game of the season against Dartmouth as his search for the form he ended last season with continues in the early going in 2026. Through two games he has yet to record a victory.

Dartmouth has not announced who its starting pitcher will be.
