Texas vs Texas A&M: Live updates, TV/streaming info for SEC game

Texas basketball gets a chance at avenging a  74-70 Texas A&M win Jan. 17  last month in Austin. And this time, the stakes seem even higher.

Texas A&M (19-9, 9-6 SEC) is tied for fifth in the SEC with Missouri, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Those teams are one game ahead of Texas (17-11, 8-7), which is currently in sole possession of ninth place. At the upcoming SEC Tournament March 11-15 in Nashville, the top eight teams receive a first-round bye.

A&M and Texas also share similar NCAA Tournament projections, which means a win could mean the difference between a visit to Dayton, Ohio, for a First Four game or a direct flight to a first-round matchup in the NCAA Tournament. In his latest tournament projections, ESPN college basketball analyst Joe Lunardi placed the Aggies and Longhorns as his final two tournament teams not in the First Four.
