One of the biggest free-agency decisions the Pittsburgh Steelers will have is whether or not to re-sign guard Isaac Seumalo. Seumalo has been the Steelers starting left guard for the past three seasons but he will turn 33 next season, and the Steelers could be eyeing an upgrade.
At the NFL Scouting Combine this week, the Steelers interviewed guard prospects Chase Bisontis and Emmanuel Pregnon. Bisontis and Pregnon are our No. 2 and No. 3 guards in the 2026 NFL draft and both guys have the skill set to be plug and play in the NFL. Both prospects are also projected to be taken in the second round.
There has been non word from the combine about the Steelers meeting with Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane. This tells us the Steelers have higher-priority positions in the upcoming draft and don't want to spend a first-round pick on a guard but seem to have no issues with using a second-round pick.
