WNBA Union Sends New CBA Offer With Revenue Sharing

The WNBA players' union sent a counterproposal to the league Friday night, addressing key differences in revenue sharing and housing.

The union is requesting 26% of gross revenue and a salary cap around $9.5 million in the first year. The proposal includes housing concessions, requiring teams to house all players initially, though teams would not be obligated to house players earning 75% of the maximum salary in later years.

The offer comes a week after the league's proposal. Both sides are under pressure to finalize a deal by March 10 to keep the season on schedule.
