Browns Tender Six Exclusive Free Agents, Including Kicker Szmyt

The Cleveland Browns announced on Wednesday that they have tendered exclusive free agency contracts to six players: kicker Andre Szmyt, tight end Brenden Bates, wide receiver Malachi Corley, linebacker Winston Reid, long snapper Rex Sunahara, and wide receiver Jamari Thrash.

Szmyt, who joined the practice squad late in the 2024 season and earned the starting job, finished the year 24‑of‑27 on field goals and 25‑of‑26 on extra points across all 17 games. Bates has four receptions for 48 yards in 16 career games, Corley recorded 13 catches for 127 yards with Cleveland last year, Thrash had 10 catches for 107 yards, Reid played 16 games in 2024 but missed last season with a back injury, and Sunahara handled snapping duties in every game during the 2025 season.
