Former Ohio State LB Sonny Styles Dominates NFL Combine

Former Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles delivered a historic performance at the NFL Combine, posting a 43.5-inch vertical jump just 1.5 inches off the all-time record.

The 21-year-old reclassified high schooler recorded a 43.5-inch vertical and 11-foot-2-inch broad jump, ranking fourth among linebackers since 1999. His 4.46-second 40-yard dash tied for the fastest of the day, matching Bijan Robinson despite being larger.

Standing 6-foot-5 and 244 pounds, Styles measures up similarly to Calvin Johnson. He is the son of former NFL linebacker Lorenzo Styles Sr., who won a Super Bowl with the Rams. Styles also joins his brother, Lorenzo Jr., at the combine.
