According to The Athletic, a market has not yet emerged for Mac Jones in the upcoming NFL quarterback carousel. Teams are reportedly more likely to consider free-agent options rather than trade for Jones, who is currently the backup to 49ers starter Brock Purdy.

The 49ers signed Jones to a two-year deal last year, giving them control through 2026. While they claim not wanting to trade him, that may be posturing.
