Keith Andrews has signed a new contract extension with Brentford until 2032, just nine months after replacing Thomas Frank as head coach. The Irishman has impressed since taking charge, guiding the club to seventh in the Premier League with notable wins over Manchester United and Liverpool.
"I wanted to be very humble about it, work really, really hard, and basically just prove to myself - more than anyone - that I was capable of doing this job," Andrews said. Director of football Phil Giles praised Andrews as a "really good fit" after an "outstanding" first season at the helm. Brentford host Burnley in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday.
