Atletico Madrid to consider offers for three defenders

The club, under new Sporting Director Mateu Alemany, is set to review offers for three defenders: Nahuel Molina, Clement Lenglet and Jose Maria Gimenez. Molina, who joined for €20m from Udinese, has struggled to meet expectations, while Lenglet’s game time has dropped since arriving from Barcelona. Gimenez, a World Cup winner, has already received interest from clubs in Argentina and Italy and is expected to depart after the tournament.

Atletico also tracks Palmeiras right‑back Agustin Giay as a potential replacement for Molina. The club has recently strengthened its backline with David Hancko, Marc Pubill and Matteo Ruggeri, and is looking to rebuild the squad for the upcoming season.
