Pedro Acosta, 21, secured his first MotoGP win in the Thailand Grand Prix after a dramatic last‑lap battle with world champion Marc Márquez. The Spaniard edged Márquez on the final corner, but officials penalised the defending champion, allowing Acosta to cross the line first.
The podium was completed by Raúl Fernández on the Aprilia, while Acosta’s triumph marked a historic moment for KTM and the young rider’s rise from intermediate championships.
