Bears' Pro Bowl Center Drew Dalman Retires at 27

Chicago Bears center Drew Dalman is retiring from the NFL at age 27, just one season after signing a three-year, $42 million contract.

Dalman, who earned his first Pro Bowl selection last season, played four years with the Atlanta Falcons before joining Chicago in March 2025.

He leaves the game after anchoring an offensive line that helped the Bears secure the NFC North title and significantly improved quarterback Caleb Williams' protection. The 27-year-old is the son of former NFL player Chris Dalman, who reportedly advised him on the physical toll of the sport.
