Beavers Keep Unbeaten Streak Alive With Two Victories

The Bemidji State women's tennis team extended their program-record winning streak to six with victories over Minnesota Duluth (6-1) and St. Cloud State (5-2) over the weekend.

The Beavers swept five of six singles matches against Minnesota Duluth on Friday, with their only losses coming in No. 3 doubles and No. 4 singles. Against St. Cloud State on Saturday, the Huskies won No. 1 singles and doubles, but Paula Garcia Acebal and Ana Lucía Ibáñez Castro rallied from first-set losses to secure key victories in their respective matches.

The Beavers (6-0) will look to continue their perfect start on the road against Augustana, Sioux Falls, and the University of North Dakota on February 21 and 22.
