Bologna beat Brann 1-0 to reach UEL Round of 16

Bologna advanced to the Europa League Round of 16 with a 1-0 victory over SK Brann in the second leg.

Joao Mario scored the decisive goal as Bologna defeated SK Brann 1-0 at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Brann were reduced to 10 men early in the second half after Jacob Sorensen received a red card for a studs-up challenge.

The Rossoblu won the tie 2-0 on aggregate after a similar 1-0 victory in Norway. They will now face either Roma or Freiburg in the Round of 16.
