Ganguly backs Auqib Nabi for India's England tour

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has backed Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi for national selection, urging selectors to pick him for the 2026 white-ball tour of England.

Nabi, who finished the Ranji Trophy final with 5/54, leads the wicket charts this season with 60 scalps. Ganguly highlighted the "tough environment" that shaped Nabi's resilience.

"England is the place to start in the summer," Ganguly wrote on X. Dinesh Karthik also lauded Nabi's consistent performance across conditions, stating he is an "absolute champion" deserving of national colours.
