Lavia Set for Return Tonight After Months Out

Romeo Lavia is set to make his first competitive appearance since November when he plays for Chelsea's Under-21 team against Leeds tonight, according to an exclusive report.

After months on the sidelines with injury, midfielder Romeo Lavia is finally set to return to action. The Evening Standard reports that the 22-year-old will feature in tonight's Under-21 fixture against Leeds as he builds up match fitness. Lavia has been back in first-team training for "ten days to two weeks" and could make his senior return against Arsenal on March 1st.

Despite injury troubles throughout his Chelsea career, the club still sees value in Lavia as a squad option with managed minutes, similar to Reece James and Wesley Fofana.
